What If My Whole Life Has Been Wrong?

In Dr. Wayne Dyer‘s most recent book, I can See Clearly Now he talks about how when one looks back at one’s life one can see how every event and every person had a purpose. In his mind there are no coincidences.  I think he is right.

Another famous author Rick Warren penned a book The Purpose Driven Life. That book also became a New York Times Bestseller.

Why do these two books I mention resonate with millions?

I suppose we all want to look back at what we have accomplished and do it with a great sense of peace that we fulfilled our destiny; we were in sync with our dharma, our purpose, our calling.

Dr. Dyer mentions that he was reminded of Leo Tolstoy‘s book The Death of Ivan Ilyich where Ivan asks his wife on his deathbed “What if my whole life has been wrong?”

Perhaps you are facing a fork in the road these days. It may be related to family life, health, finances or a career decision (These are the top four areas people struggle in as they search for happiness and meaning. I have observed this daily in my experience with helping families live healthy lives)

Please choose the right fork. The one where you will not have any regrets once you reach the end of your purpose here on earth.
